The architecture and design industry worldwide has spoken. BIMx PRO won the A+ Architizer Award – ahead of the thousands of technology apps that were submitted including rival Autodesk. An elite group of experts made up an international jury of more than 300 architects and cultural leaders. They chose it as the best of the best, proving it is an app that truly stands out. The illustrious jury members included such industry luminaries as Denise Scott Brown, Bjarke Ingels and Tom Kundig, as well as personalities from beyond architecture like Tony Hsieh (CEO, Zappos), Yves Behar (Fuseproject), John Edelman (CEO, Design Within Reach), Cameron Sinclair (Architecture for Humanity) and Barry Bergdoll (MoMA).
The app won the Architizer A+ Jury Award and the Architizer A+ Popular Choice Award in the world’s largest awards program for architecture and products. This prestigious announcement comes on the heels of BIMx PRO being prominently featured in the Apple launch film for its iPad Pro.
